Korean DUALi Inc. Develops Competitive Smart Card Solutions
Seoul, South Korea December 18 2003--Experts in credit card fraud and financial crime agree that one way to combat the problem is to increase usage of the IC chip Card (Smart Card) as a replacement for the magnetic stripe card. Korean manufacturer DUALi Inc. is positioning itself as researching and developing company for the replacement work process.
As the Smart Card Market increases, the end user wishes to use their own application with the ISO 14443 type A /B RF Module. DualEye-ABML is the new product to support the ISO14443 type A / B in one module and can easily be used in various applications, such as banking systems, e-payment systems, m-payment systems and auto fare collection systems, etc.
A few companies offer products to support the ISO14443 Type B, however DUALi's DualEye-ABML supports Type A /B simultaneously in one module and fully supports the Card Communication speed 424Kbyte (Samsung chip card), as opposed to the standard 212Kbytes.
DUALi Inc. has been enjoying a great reputation on their core technology especially ISO14443 Type A & B RF Module ( 13.56MHz )', says Han-Cheol, KIM, Sales Director. DUALi already completed the ASIC ( One-chip )to support the ISO14443 Type A & B Digital Data Process Part called the DE5000V10. Recently DE5000V10 added some functions to support the Communication Speed 106Kbyte,212Kbyte, 424Kbytes, selectively with ISO 14443 Type B Card. DE5000V10 is the first product to support such a speed on the Type B Card. DUALi expects to partake in the huge National ID project in South East Asia especially China, India and Malaysia.
